Supporting female entrepreneurs and businesses is crucial for fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the marketplace. Women bring unique perspectives, innovative ideas, and valuable contributions to the business world. By actively engaging with and supporting female-led ventures, we not only help bridge the gender gap in entrepreneurship but also drive economic growth and social progress. It is imperative to create an environment where female entrepreneurs can thrive, access equal opportunities, and receive the support they need to succeed. When we champion women in business, we empower them to reach their full potential and inspire future generations of entrepreneurs. Therefore, advocating for and investing in female businesses is not only essential but also a step towards a more prosperous and equitable society.
I was invited to come help My Closet Looks, out at 8 Doors Distillery with their ‘Lassie’s Night’. This event took place on the 16th of February, at 7pm. This was an occasion to honour female friendships and encourage local women entrepreneurs. I enjoy a fun-filled evening with friends in their cosy distillery lounge while enjoying cocktails, shopping, fashion, and beauty. A drink was included with your £10 ticket upon arrival. You may choose from a variety of mocktails, cocktails, wine, and whisky, and you can also get some nibbles to go with your shopping.

The opportunity to participate in such a special event where I was invited to showcase Demi’s exquisite clothing line, alongside the stunning models Kerry and Tanya, was truly an honor. The experience of donning three distinct outfits, each carefully curated by Demi, allowed me to appreciate her exceptional talent in styling and pairing clothes.

Outfits of the night
The first outfit that I was able to wear was this beautiful pink wedding dress guest, with strappy green heels and a green bag. The soft and elegant pink hue of the dress exuded a delicate charm. Paired with the vibrant green heels, the ensemble embraced a captivating contrast, infusing the look with a playful and lively energy. The coordinating green bag harmonized with the footwear, completing the outfit with a polished and cohesive flair. This combination epitomized a perfect balance of femininity and modern style, making it an ideal choice for a memorable event.

I was able to style the cord velvet flares I was given for my birthday, I styled this with a mesh bow top and a pair of black platform boots. The cord velvet flares added a touch of retro elegance to the outfit, while the mesh bow top brought a hint of playfulness. Paired with the black platform boots, the outfit exuded a trendy and confident vibe. The combination of textures and styles created a unique and eye-catching look that was perfect for a night out or a stylish event.

This one was by far my favourite outfit to wear during the night, I got to wear a brown bodysuit with the most beautiful back. This was paired with my Doc Marten’s and a cropped jacket from My Closet Looks. The brown bodysuit hugged my figure perfectly, and the intricate design on the back added a touch of allure. Paired with the timeless appeal of Doc Martens, the outfit exuded an effortless cool vibe. The cropped jacket from My Closet Looks tied everything together, adding a layer of sophistication while allowing the bodysuit to remain the focal point. It was an outfit that was beautifully balanced with both comfort and style, making it an absolute delight to wear throughout the night.
